01 / MATERIAL TRANSPARENCY
The beauty is in the details.
We aim to tell you what each design is made from. Our descriptions focus on the underlying metal, surface finish, colour, dimensions, fastening and decorative elements where those details are available and confirmed.
Many of our designs use stainless steel, while selected gold-tone pieces have a PVD gold finish. Materials can vary by product and variant, so we encourage you to check each item's specifications rather than assuming every piece is identical.
WHAT THE WORDS MEAN
Gold plated
A gold-coloured coating or gold layer applied over a different base material. It does not mean the piece is solid gold.
PVD finish
Physical vapour deposition is a coating process. Its performance depends on the coating, underlying material and how the piece is worn and cared for.
Stainless steel
A metal alloy often chosen for strength and corrosion resistance. Its exact composition and grade may vary, and stainless steel is not automatically nickel-free.

We understand that choosing jewellery can be more complicated when you have sensitive skin. That is why we distinguish between terms that are sometimes used as if they mean the same thing.
Gold plated describes a finish, not skin compatibility. Nickel-free is a specific material claim. Hypoallergenic suggests a reduced likelihood of reactions, but cannot guarantee that nobody will experience irritation.
We only make such claims for an individual piece when supported by its specifications. If you have a known metal allergy, contact us about the exact product before ordering.
How to choose your next piece
Consider the metal and finish, the size and fastening, how often you plan to wear it, whether you have material sensitivities, and the care it needs. If a detail is missing, ask us. A clear answer matters more than an assumption.

Questions worth asking
Does 18K gold PVD mean solid gold?
No. It refers to the finish applied over another material. Always check the individual product details for the base metal and coating information.
Is every piece hypoallergenic?
We do not make that blanket claim. Skin compatibility depends on the exact materials and on individual sensitivities.
Can I wear my jewellery in water?
Water resistance varies by material, finish and decorative components. Repeated moisture exposure and chemicals can affect a finish; follow the care guidance for your specific piece.
What if a product detail is unclear?
